Restoration Work Complete

We are very pleased to say that the major restoration works at St Mary's have now been completed and the church is now once again open daily for visits and private prayer. Thank you for your patience and understanding through this time.

A great deal of thanks have to go to:

Our contractors PAYE who have carried out the work to a wonderful standard being sensitive to the needs of the church community during their time on site.

Our architect Julian Vallis of Vallis and Hall Conservation Architects

Jeff Thompson our project manager.

Also many thanks to our generous Donors and Benefactors (see below)

If you woud like to contribute to the Life and Witness of the church here in this place and ensure its presence in our community, please see our Support us page
or contribute to the Friends of St Mary's who help to fund the upkeep of our beautiful building.

Details of some of the work carried out in this recent project, can be found on the boards situated on the south wall inside the church.
